Free spirit, world traveler, filmmaker, queer -- very interested in film, art, music, eastern philosophies and different conceptions of transcendence in life. I believe we are infinite consciousnesses having a human experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met some amazing couch surfers in San Francisco who I spent two days with and I've also hosted some couch surfers at my place. Fun times!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only hosted couch surfers (one from Colombia and one from Switzerland) and have been hosted (in Stockholm and Copenhagen). All were very positive, enriching experiences.

Interests

Classic/foreign/indie movies, traveling, vintage/antiques, swimming, healthy food, being culturally/emotionally/spiritually conscious, volunteering for a cause, seeing/creating art, making movies w/ friends, transcendental meditation, hot yoga, staying up really late, sleeping in really late, gay LGBT and queer culture, and laughing at the absurdities of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Brazil, Apocalypse Now, American Beauty, Blue Velvet, Videodrome, Birth, Days of Heaven. My favorite current filmmakers are Michael Haneke, David Lynch, Pedro Almodovar, Lars Von Trier, Alexander Payne, and David Cronenberg.

Music: Electronic, disco, techno, ambient, classical, and oldies are my favorites. The field and In Flagranti are sublime.

Books: My favorite books are The Razor's Edge and Giovanni's Room.
