About Me
Hello friends! :)
My name is Usman, I am a University student from Canada on an adventure in Marseille, France for Student Exchange.
I am super excited (and a little nervous) as this is my first time on my own in a completely new environment, but I'm ready to learn and grow from this experience!
I love animals, people, nature and music, so if you would like to go sightseeing, relax at a beach or play some music together let me know! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting amazing people and making friends, so as I plan to travel France and the rest of Europe, I'm looking forward to joining a community of like-minded people.
I'd also love to see what it's like to explore a country first-hand, and would love to make new friends through the people I meet and stay with on this platform! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I raised a puppy for the National Service Dogs in Canada, (he’s the pup in my profile picture!).
He will be used to help children with Autism or Veterans suffering from PTSD to cope with everyday life.
It was a life changing experience raising an animal for a bigger purpose, watching him grow and turn into the awesome dog he is today!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about technology (I worked at a Virtual Reality Startup in University:), life, philosophy and protecting Mother Earth. I am open-minded and love being challenged on my views and learning new things from others.
I love learning about others and their stories, as it’s amazing to see how connected and similar we all are, no matter what background we are from.
