About Me

I am a 23 year old British Muslim currently residing in Manchester, UK. I come from a Pakistani background and was blessed to live in Pakistan for 5 years from the age of 8-13. I love cats, trees, mountains, hiking and people and like a million other things.

This is the first time I am attempting to use CouchSurfer since I got it, forgive me that I have no references. I will be travelling to Georgia for a week from 3rd of April to the 10th of April.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer getting to know the locals in a city on a more intimate level rather than just the casual, superficial interactions of 'Hello, how are you?'. Also, given that most people on Couchsurfing can speak English, naturally, they will be able to answer the 100s of questions I will have about the locals, I am quite inquisitive like that haha.

Also, I have the bare minimum expectations. So, it is very hard for me to be disappointed. I think Couchsurfing is made for people like that.

Interests

I find it way to hard to talk about my interests here haha.

  • books
  • mosque
  • treking
  • coffeeshops

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite books include The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Road to Mecca by Mohammad Asad, Amusing Ourselves to death by Neil Postman, The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak.

I love the Turkish TV series Ertugrul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked it to Nanga Parbat Base Camp. I'm incapable of going any further unfortunately haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a seeker of knowledge rather than someone who possesses it. I am more a sheep than a shepherd. But, I am always open to learning and listening to others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my life experiences and thoughts.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Macedonia, Morocco, Netherlands, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Vatican City State
