ABOUT ME

I was lucky enough to be born in Utah and that saved be the trouble of having to move here. Most of my time is spent hiking, camping, catching insects and exploring the countless slot canyons and other hidden places off the beaten path.

PHILOSOPHY

My man Neil DeGrasse Tyson put it best: "know more today about the world than I knew yesterday. And lessen the suffering of others."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a house with a couple friends (also couch surfers) and like to host people whenever I can. If one of us is free we can even join you on your adventures around St. George and Zion and show you some cool stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had nothing but good experiences with couch surfing and made some life long friends. Its always fun to see my favorite local places for the first time again through someone else's eyes.

I read a lot of science books and other non-fiction. I have a weakness for field guides (birds, trees, insects, whatever) and books on evolution.
