HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing has always been a great instrument for me to meet people and find friends. That's what made me feel very much at home in the Basque country and in Germany.
Things were a bit different in Mozambique were there were not many Couchsurfers around.
Now life took me to the US where I am more than happy to dive back into the community and offer my couch to those who want to come to the Uconn main campus.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have meet great people, interesting adventurers and real friends on couch surfing.
Providing a sofa in return for that is the least I can do.

兴趣

i have a passion for human rights and development, but also am very interest in our environment and what we can do to get all those three things working ;-).

For me going somewhere new and making myself feel at home has always come easy to me. I enjoy meeting new people and broaden my horizon. needless to say here, that I am also interested in traveling.

preferrably jazz, funk and balkan...but as soon as it's LIVE i'm up for it. not that much into the electronic stuff, still have this old-fashioned attitude that music should be made with instruments :-)

movies...hmm...play it forward ...
and i have to admit i have a thing for animal documentaries :-)

books...travel literature preferrably about africa...and let's be honest it: HARRY POTTER and Game of Thrones

I think I have just seen and experienced enough of our beautiful world to have realized, that I actually know nothing :-) Therefore I can only offer to share my experience with others and ask them to let me learn from theirs.

My couch :-)
I have only been in Storrs for a couple of months, but it has become quite clear to me that visiting the Uconn campus is probably the only reason for anyone to come here.
I didn't know anyone beforehand and had troubles finding an apartment and ended up spending a lot of money.
So I'd be more than happy to help to avoid that for others. If you need to come to Uconn for a few days and don't know where to stay, I'll be happy to help you out!
