i've just returned to school after a two year hiatus and i am so excited about learning, although the environment and workload is a constant challenge. i maintain my sanity by reading voraciously and hanging out with my niece, the inuit sled dog!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i have woken up on many a strange couch, be it surfing friends i met in el salvador or elk farmers i met in guelph. i love meeting new people, especially in their pajamas. they say alot about who you are (the pajamas that is). my first official experience with marko was fantastic.
Interests
singing at the top of my lungs (at whomever will listen), getting my nose stuck in a book, playing guitar, paddling pretty canoes with wooden ottertails, listening to great jazz bands play in small cottages, travellin'

new wave mexican films...although anything in spanish usually goes over well, salsa...cause i love to dance, jazz/blues and folk, novels about india and quirky love stories
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
one night, i curled up on a couch in a cottage on an island in a lake and listened to an absolutely incredible jazz show (worthy of a venue a thousand times it's size) by some of the most talented musicians in my neck of the woods. jazz and blues tunes like they have never been played before.
