ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I am a former elementary teacher, Disney Cast member, and would be world traveler. I work in a nursing home helping people regain their independence. I love it! I love kids, theater, learning new things and meeting people. I am an avid reader. I love all things with needles (knitting, crochet, sewing, cross stitch)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is nothing but a collection of experiences and I plan to have a huge collection. Life is about the journey not the destination! Be the change you want to see in the world

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attend CS gatherings locally. I haven't hosted a CS yet but am looking forward to it. I've had a ton of host families in my life and I can't wait to finally be a "host mom"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled with a group called Up with People (see upwithpeople.org for an explanation). I lived w/ 100 people from 23 different countries for 6 months. We stayed with host families and did community service. This isn't technically a couch surfing experience, but I did stay w/ a *few* people and stay on a *few* couches.
