ABOUT ME

we are a family of four, at least currently stop 'growing' to concentrate on finishing phd study on environmental justice in Indonesia. Our eldest son was born in Indonesia in 2012, and the younger one was born last April. Pretty busy, and often messy, but always try to make a balance between life, work, and family. We are very keen to learn about sustainable and independent living, particularly because we dream about building our own home back in Indonesia later when phd study is finished.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We started our maiden CS experience when we made our European trip in 2010. We had wonderful hosts (Gabriel, Xavier, Luis in Paris and Manfredi family in Rome)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Long before I heard about CS, one of us actually hosted a young German in our hometown (we visited him few years later in Germany). Few years after, we started our trip in Europe and our CS maiden surfing experience was exceptional. We had very warm hosts in Paris, and another warm family in Rome warmly accepted our request too (despite initial hesitance about our moslem background and hijab).

I can teach Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language). At some extent, I can show you how to cook Indonesian food as well. I would love to learn how to cook your food too!
