I'm a positive, relaxed and open minded person and like meeting new people and exchange ideas and thoughts.
I spend a great time making music and doing all kinds of sports.
At university, I did a master in computer science and before that I attended a 'high school' for electronics engineering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always lived in shared flats and I come from a big family - so I just enjoy the company of others wherever I am.
I also like to travel and experience the country and people in a 'real' way. I think traveling on a small budget and not planning too much in advance helps, because it makes me ask around more and get more into contact with people.
I love the idea of couchsurfing because you get to know interesting personalities. It's also a great way to get tips for the best places to hang out and visit.

Interests

I'm a musician and play guitar, piano, bass, and a little bit of drums. I'm interested in different kinds of music ranging from rock/alternative to classical music, electronic music to funk and jazz, etc.
I'm also quite into sports like rock-climbing, freerunning/parkour, mountaineering, snowboarding and skiing, running, and capoeira.
Right now I'm working as a PhD researcher in computer science, teaching computers to listen to and make music. It is not as nerdy as it sounds :D
Of course I try to travel as much as time and money allows :)
