ABOUT ME

I took three seperate week long bike tours while in high school and one 3,000 mile cross country tour while I was in college. Take my bike on most family vacations and it is my preferred form of exercise. I just like to explore new places by bike and I hope to do some weeked excursions.

PHILOSOPHY

God created a whole big beautiful planet, it would be a shame not to go out and explore it.

I enjoy classic rock (posion, U2, Zeplin) and christian rock like Toby Mac
I read 50+ books a year, but my wife would tell you I "cheat" because I do most of them as audio books while I travel for work. I like to learn something though what I read, so I tend to read alot of non fiction. Some favorites include: Stones for Schools by Greg Mortenson, Lost on planet China by J. Martin Troost, Lone survivor by Marcus Luttrell, Garlic andd saphires by Ruth Reichl, Outliers by Malcom Gladwell, Rocket boys by Homer Heckman, Undaunted courage by Stephen Ambrose, Born to Run by Christopher McDougal, Animal Vegtable miricle by Barbra Kingsolver (you need this on audio - she has a fantastic speaking voice)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gone skydiving and would love to do in again.

I love to stay in the mountains in wears valley TN. The mountains are amazing and peaceful.

For my 40th birthday I took a leason and learned to do a backflip on the tampoline and My family bought me a powered parachute flight over the lake michigan shoreline.
