On a third days of my pilgrimage across Sicily, I was struggling in a terrible rainy weather. In a moment of total physical and mental exhaustion, I found five puppies abandoned by the road. I brought them to the nearest town. Then I ended up spending several days with Franciscan monks who saved me from the weather. Perhaps karma exists.
