Hi there! I'm a young and curious guy from the coldest city on Earth — Yakutsk ❄️
My name is Vadim-Saaryn, I'm 25, and proudly (but not too proudly, haha) one of around 500,000 Sakha (Yakut) people in the world.
I’m a simple, easy-going, and open-minded person who’s always curious about the world and the people in it.
At the same time, I have a soft spot for being a little shy sometimes — but hey, that just makes connections more meaningful 😄
I believe in kindness, good conversations, and making the most out of life’s little adventures.

Music

I'm a big fan of pop and electronic (house) music.
To be honest, I can enjoy almost any genre — it really depends on my mood 😊
But most of all, I absolutely love all songs from my childhood, especially everything from the 2000s, including songs in Sakha (Yakut), international, and Russian music
I still remember how I couldn’t take my eyes off MTV back then haha
Some of my favorite artists (mostly from the 2000s) are Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Michael Jackson, t.A.T.u., Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Adele, Luna (ukrainian one), Peggy Gou, Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, Sam Smith and many more 💿🎧
Also, I absolutely love pop hits from the 80s and 90s — they just never get old! 💃🕺💖

Movies

I enjoy comedies, thrillers, and horror films, but my very first and forever favorites are definitely Sakha (Yakut) movies.
I truly love them (and honestly, Sakha filmmakers are seriously talented — you should definitely check out what we create up here in the cold north ❄️🎬)
When it comes to thrillers and horrors, I’m a big fan of intense, smart storytelling.
Some of my favorites include: Non-Stop, Taken, The Grey, Prisoners, The Visit, Get Out, The Descent, The Commuter, Orphan, Unknown, and Searching.
At the same time, I’m a huge lover of animated films — especially the classics from Disney, DreamWorks, and Pixar.
Movies like Shrek, Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc., and Madagascar will always have a special place in my heart — I could rewatch them endlessly! 🧸🎥
And of course, I’m totally into iconic franchises like Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean — pure magic and adventure!

Honestly I'm not a big fun of reading books haha:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Umm… still waiting for my “main character” moment 😅
To be honest, I haven’t done anything amazing yet — mostly because I’m a professional overthinker with a PhD in fear 🤓
But that’s exactly why I’m here: to challenge myself, step out of my comfort zone, and maybe one day do something slightly cooler than binge-watching cartoons at 3am 🐸✨

I can also share some of the things I’m good at (yes, I have a few secret skills 😄), as well as funny or unexpected stories from my travels.
And hey — if nothing else, I can at least teach you how to survive -50°C without crying… maybe 😅
