ABOUT ME

My biggest fear in life is Boredom and mediocrity...traveling, meeting new people, seeking fresh experiences, and achieving goals and adrenaline rushes is the cure!

Repulsed by narrow minded stereotypes: like to learn, experience personal growth, and seek knowledge and wisdom.

Traveling continually inspires me. It introduces me to one-of-a-kind, awesome people. It creates ideas for business projects, and brings creative opportunities...not to mention satisfies my yearning for learning languages and cultures!

Currently have 2 goals: Always keep promises - first to myself and then to others. Second, to set goals and work to achieve them...its a way to take back control of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Find the power to subordinate feelings to principles and values. Forces beyond our control might take away everything we have except our response to them. The power to choose how we respond - what we do and how we feel - that is true freedom. Freedom to choose how we respond.

In essence, between stimulus and response is a gap. This gap is freedom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed: Sau Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Vitoria, Belo Horizonte, and Lima..I love the people in Brazil!!

Based on a few past CS experiences, I need to make a statement: I don't judge other peoples' tastes, but I ONLY love, adore, and find attractive:
girls (only), senoritas, chicas, and mujeres. (an implied hint to men...and to you girls;) But I'm very much a gentleman!

Sunset walks on a warm beach. Like to move around: Teakwondo, hiking, volleyball, lifting weights, swimming, running, playing piano, reading - not to mention travel internationally! Wait, wait...did I mention family and friends??! They are the MOST important! No family, no me.

People: I've had the privilege of talking to some amazing individuals in Brazil, Russia, and USA. Truly Good people are few in the world, and I treasure the moments when I get to talk and learn from them.

1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

2. What information consumes is rather obvious: it consumes the attention of its recipients. Hence, a wealth of information creates a poverty of attention and a need to allocate that attention efficiently among the overabundance of information sources that might consume it. We can deduce that any person who consumes too much media and information uses his own brain too little and falls into lazy habits of thinking.
