Hi. My name is Vadym. I'm already 22 years old, but I have no idea what I should do with my life and, what's more important, why I should do anything with it.
And then once, I noticed that a single three-day trip can give you more emotions and food for thought than a whole year of ordinary and routine life.
Since then, I try to use every opportunity to go out to travelling. Maybe I can find myself somewhere in Europe or in South America, maybe in India or Africa, I don't know. I hope I can. And maybe I will understand something important in your house while talking to you and absorbing your experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's all about the people I can meet while couchsurfing and it's all about the experience I can get and the experience I can share. I believe that the best people in the world are gathered here. And what I want is to become one of them. That's one of the ways in which I want to make our world a better place.

Music, Movies, and Books

My greatest passion is music. Sergei Rachmaninoff is my favourite composer. His music broadens the boundaries of my imagination. Metallica, Pink Floyd, Muse and Diablo Swing Orchestra are some of my favourite bands. I’m a big fan of eclecticism in music and I like exploring world music. I try not to limit myself with any music genre or style, so I constantly search for new directions and new inspirations.
My favourite writers are Erich Maria Remarque and Mikhail Bulgakov. In general, I like books that make you come up with new thoughts and help you realise something important about your life. However corny it may sound, it is true for me.
The same goes with movies. My favourite movie is Pulp Fiction though. I suppose it’s an exception :)
