About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make an impact on the world around me. To add positivity to the lives around me. To never stop growing as a person.

ABOUT ME

My dream is to bring the arts to underprivileged children who need somebody to take a vested interest in them. To help kids discover their own creativity.

My ultimate goal is to live a life that leaves an impact, that directs attention and glory to the God who created me and gave me my passions. To show love to everyone I encounter, no exceptions. I love learning and growing.

PHILOSOPHY

Love wins.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS, but excited to connect with other explorers. I'd love to road trip when I get breaks from work, and am hoping this will provide a safe, fun way to experience life through other people's lenses.

Being new to Memphis, I'd love to get out and explore my new city with new friends. Even though it'll be my home now, I still get to be a tourist for a little while.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, just hosting by showing travelers around my awesome city. Hopefully I'll be crashing on some of your couches in the near future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My time spent in Kapelebyong, Uganda. Experiencing the presence of utter joy and utter brokeness with the people there. Playing with children who thought my whiteness was the weirdest/coolest thing they'd ever seen. Swimming in the Nile River.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has a story. All it takes to change the world, or someone else's life, is a story. Share it.

"The wise man pays attention to his path." If the path you're on isn't leading to where you're meant to be, you have time to change it. Pay attention. Don't worry about your life (Matthew 6:25-34).

I would love to learn to speak and read more Hebrew, and to read Greek. I want more surfing practice, and to get better at bouldering so I can climb out West. I would love to learn how to screen print.

If anyone is interested in theater, journalism, or film production, I'd love to share the knowledge and experience I've gathered.
