ABOUT ME

My feet like to be bare, my hair likes to be down, my body likes to dance, and my hands seek friends.

I am an improving musician, I play the piano, guitar, and am a junkie for african drumming, I just got a djembe drum. I also play the Native American flute, and next on my list is the accordion. My hands are always happy to create. I also have a harmonica, but haven't taken the time to fool around and teach myself... maybe someone can help?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My mind has traveled into many dimensions in many realities, I was born a vagabond, but am just checking into CS.
I seek the fabric of your couch on my back and my records. I'm breaking through the veil of curiosity and beginning my exploration of others worlds, lifestyles, and homes.
I want to give what I can, Leave a part of my truth for others, to grasp onto if they so choose. The pieces of my puzzle feel as if they have been neatly placed into their intended structure, but I'm ready to starting taking that apart, live in the chaos I love and create.
I'll leave a piece of myself like bread crumbs and gathers those of others, to conjure up a pile of fortunate events, beautiful beings, and journal entries that make up the self I know I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

My life's sound track consists of mostly Cocorosie. Women with the ability to translate my thoughts, provoke new ones, and relay messages that really hit home with me. I also Love The Tallest Man on Earth, Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, Edward Sharpe, The Beatles. The XX, Regina Spektor, The National, John Lennon, Bjork, Bright Eyes, Caribou, Animal Collective. And So Much More.

Expansion happens the most for me in my reading. Books have been my best friends for years, they are always there and always have something new to teach. My top favorite books are, The Fountainhead, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Anastasia (By Vladimir Megree), Remember- Be Here Now, BIophilia, The Mysterious Benedict Society series, Journey of Souls, Catcher in the Rye, Le Petit Prince, The Unvanquished, and Many Philosophy books.

Movies: The Eternal SunShine of the Spotless Mind, The Triplets of Belleville, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, Wicker Park, Youth in Revolt, Avatar, Juno, Lost in Translation, Rushmore... Any Focus Feature Film or Wes Anderson Film!
