YEAR 2022 UPDATE
After a short break from couch surfing - here we go again!

Everyone are welcome! Surfers who are hosting as well as traveling have slight advantage but it's not a deal breaker. What is a deal breaker is that you need to be fun, open minded, cool and just have a smile on your face.

ABOUT ME
I'm a cool, funny guy who likes to meet new people and hang out. Most of the time I live alone and I like it that way.
I work Monday to Friday and in my spare time love to watch movies and TV-shows.

PHILOSOPHY
Live everyday like it's your last 'cause this is the only life you'll ever get.
Don't try to figure out life - just enjoy it because tomorrow it'll be like you never existed at all.

I'm a host. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been hosting for 12 years now - I've had couch surfers from all over the world but never enough. I would say 95% of experiences with all the surfers were positive - there were few "rotten apples" but nothing too tragic and I would presume they think the same about me so it's mutual. :)

Also I write on Croatian Wikipedia when I have time (mostly about movies, TV shows, football, tennis and for some reason American history). :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

MOVIES
If I wanna look cool then I'll say French New Wave is my favorite cinema period (Godard, Melville, Chabrol...).
If I just wanna be cliche, then I'll say: The Godfather trilogy, Taxi Driver, 12 Monkeys, Dances With Wolves, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Cinema Paradiso, The Lives of Others, Schindler's List, Scent of a Woman, The Shawshank Redemption, The Thin Red Line

MUSIC
I can literally listen to everything - I can have Metallica, 2Pac and Mozart on the same CD and will enjoy each one in a different way

BOOKS
Not really a reader I have to admit but from what I read I like Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon the most.
However the best book I ever read is probably Albert Camus's "L'etranger".

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- been with a girl who turned out to be a 100% lesbian (I know it sounds cool now but at that time it really wasn't, I really liked her) :)

- been caught by the police with 8 other couch surfers in my car and didn't pay for the ticket cause I think even police officers were amazed how in the hell 9 people could fit in Renault Clio :)

- travelled to Istanbul (Turkey), Barcelona (Spain), Monaco, Cannes, Lyon, Mougins, Aix-en-Provence, St. Etienne, Nice (France), Oslo (Norway), Vienna (Austria), Athens (Greece), Bratislava (Slovakia), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Belgrade (Serbia), Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Budapest (Hungary), Milano, San Remo, Venice (Italy), Sao Paolo & Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Visalia, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Atlantic City (USA)
