About Me

Hey there! Most people call me Vale. I'm from Uruguay
enjoy cooking delicious meals, listening to all kinds of music, reading, practicing yoga, dancing, and having meaningful conversations.
Im a yoga instructor and a massage therapist.
What I love most in life is connecting with people and their stories...
I’m responsible, sociable, empathetic, curious, and I have a good sense of humor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the best way to know a place is if a local shows you, or at least gives you some tips, and I think it's very nice to open your doors to someone you don't really know and share experiences and know a little bit more about the place you are at. And every person who shares their home with me, will stay in my memory for all my life because you will make my trip more spécial for sure

Interests

I really enjoy drawing and listening to music, also like taking walks and doing activities outside. I like to cook, not always haha, but when i'm inspired I looove to do it for myself and others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music. But I really enjoy depending on the moment some good old rock and roll, funk, blues, electronic and even Classical music.
Books: The forgotten garden, the voices of the desert, Tokyo Blues, The Unbearable Lightness of Being
Movies: Your Name, From rags to royalty, Triangle of Sadness

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is a very mystic and beautiful place in Uruguay that's called Cabo Polonio, some nights you go to the beach and there are these little things in the océan that are called noctilucas, they are millions of microorganisms that shine with movement so you see the waves crashing and the fishes swimming in the middle of the night. My friends and I looked at each other and said if we don't get in we will regret it. And it was completely magical, our bodys looked like they had glitter, and our movement generated light around our bodies like an aura, we were children again. One of the best expériences of my life.
