ABOUT ME

I love travel. I happen quite often to visit the nineteenth century.

even though I am a "historian", I have a great passion for languages €‹and I enjoy reading grammars, especially of very "odd" languages  ‹like Hungarian or Georgian. ok, maybe a bit strange but it is through our language that we explain ourselves and the world we live in! in any case, my English is far from to be perfect, he fights every day in my brain with French (my first foreign language) and I advise you to be patient.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

because i find it a great idea.
after my erasmus period, i have travelled especially for visit my friends (in Russia, and in Hungary, for example) and now i think it's better to see a place if you know somebody who lives in; you can have only one erasmus experience in whole life but be a serial couchsurfer.
and then... i like think that i can help people make their travels better!

Music, Movies, and Books

i love XIX century novels, specially French and Russian litterature (Balzac, Flaubert, Zola, Tolstoj, Lermontov).
i can not choose my favorite movie, because it changes every week. It's the same for music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i sing in a chorus of popular songs from all over the world. we sing in french, czech, ukrainian, georgian, basque, some italian dialects... the best thing to do when i meet somebody it's to tell: i know a song from your country.
