About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from different countries, share our experiences, learn about different cultures.

Interests

High up on my list: Languages! Music, dancing, trekking, reading. Love cooking and trying new dishes.

When it comes to having fun, I really enjoy going out at night, just for a drink or dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste in music, but my favourites are the Blues, Jazz and Country. I also enjoy some chillout or Celtic music when I want to lie down and relax for a while. Some pop or electronic music from time to time, especially when hanging out with friends.

I love watching most kinds of movies - never a horror film, of course!!! TV series are a great pastime for me too. I used to be a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy, but I've already grown tired of it. Once Upon a Time is the one I'm watching these days.

I like reading books both in English and Spanish. Novels are my cup of tea although I' ve also enjoyed reading plays as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got lost trekking in the mountains in Córdoba - late in the evening, freezing cold. Kind of scary at that time, but now we all laugh our heads off when we remember what happened that day.
Luckily, after finding our way out and kitch-hiking for some time, the three of us got a lift to the nearest "hostel", which was a sort of bar, where we could have some comforting hot white coffee and delicious cakes.
We couldn't thank the man and his family enough. So selflessly kind! If he hadn't picked us up, we would have had to walk for hours to find that the bar was closed!!! In fact, we arrived only 30' before it actually closed and we were really fortunate to be able to phone a taxi.
Moral: Follow locals' advice, start trekking early in the morning!!!
