I'm from Uruguay, a small country in South America. I'm a biologist. After finishing my Master I decided to go for a PhD here in the US. All the process was difficult but I made it! Even though is tough to be far away from my family and friends I think I made a good decision coming here. I have the opportunity to interact with people from different countries at School and learn a lot from them. I feel I'm a different person now, mature, empathetic and tolerant.
I like beer and mojitos, ride my bike (and any other outdoor activity), watch movies and read (I'm always reading some fiction).
