Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is a great way to experience cities from a local's perspective, meet new people and have a nice journey in general.
Hotels are rather boring in my opinion, so that's why I'd like to try couchsurfing.

Interests

I enjoy meeting new people, cooking, eating/drinking (being in a new place and trying their local dishes is one of my favourite things) and reading.
Mathematics is also an interest of mine and I plan on studying maths at university.
I practice traditional Japanese martial arts which I think has benefited me a lot, since it's something challenging to both the mind and body!

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of different books so picking my favourite is really difficult.
Tolkien is one of my favourite authors but I also like more classical literature and a lot of non-fiction (mostly about mathematics).
Some of my favourite directors include: Akira Kurosawa, Stanley Kubrick, Edgar Wright and Quentin Tarantino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled through Europe to attend speedcubing competitions with my best friend. But since I'm still quite young I haven't had as many oppertunities as I'd like to! I hope to do more stuff in the near future!
