Ola everybody ! I'm Valentin and still student for few months. I'm living in Aix en Provence for studies but i grew up around Saint Etienne and Lyon. My favorite color is the green even if choosing definitly one would be dangerous and complicated...
Huum... yes at school i'm studying international law and my specialization is human development and humanitarian crises (or the countrary it depends)
Well ... i have 2 youger brothers and we get along well. I mean i get along well with everybody anyway ! ^^

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Being with local people is the best way to discover the city or the countryside and also traditions and way of life ... It's also a good way to meet cool and/or peacefull and/or funny poeple and to enjoy the trip as much as possible.
Obviously it's also a cheaper way of finding accomodations... For being honest, poeple don't have to do me a speech/pleading to explain me why me and not one antoher ! I mean just profiting in that case is not acceptable, BUT as long as we will share something during the trip (experiences, a drink...) it's ok ... ;)

Interessen

As a jurist i always take an interest in legal news and international relationships in the broad sense. On the same subject - more and less- i like learning about history and geography.
I enjoy travelling for sure and the nature. Freeriding and hiking are greatest sports. And i could draw a parallel with history and my studies. I'm interessed by learning the history, the language, the legal framework and traditions of countries where i've ever been.
And last but not least i'm not vegetarian but not eating meat isn't a problem and i can cook something speacial if i'm host (or guest actually ^^). Cooking is cool !

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I really love listening to world music, and especially from france, arabic area, africa, south america and tzigania. It's not a country with borders but it could be... a spirit ! And i like all music which is not on commercial radio stations: blues, folk, celtic, rock'n'roll, hip-hop, trip-hop, D&b, trance psyche, and mixed electro music (balkan, jazz, swing, hip hop, reggae...)
For movies, i love watching thriller and science-fiction and art-house movies and also animted films ... Unrelated ^^

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When i was in Argentina few years ago.. i was young and impressed by lots of landscapes. One time during the trip we got above the level of the Mont Blanc in Alpes Moutains with the car. It was just ... unreal and it keeps being unreal actually for me ^^
