ABOUT ME

I'm a history buff, travel enthusiast, hiker and a bicycle kind of guy (sure beats riding a crowded bus).

I like to play and listen to music, I have 4 guitars and a mini-collection of romanian metal CD's.

Huge fan of classic heavy metal, classic rock, traditional doom, old-school thrash and death, as well as some of the modern stuff.

Just so you guys know, if I appear to log in from Southfield, MI or some other weird place, this is just due to the proxy connection at my workplace. I am almost always located in Bucharest, Romania.

I like to travel, do new things and am in a continuous learning experience. I live to open eyes, there is more to life than what is apparent.

Music, Movies, and Books

Star Wars, Avengers, Shoot'em Up, Les Visiteurs, Lord of the Rings, Man Som Hatar Kvinnor.

As for music, most CS'ers seem to enjoy world music, reggae, electro and other varied stuff, which is not the case for me as I'm a rocker through and through. That's not to say I don't see the beauty in these other genres, it means that I mostly only listen to classic rock and metal.

I'm currently hooked on Accept and Symphony X. Other personal favorites include Judas Priest, Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Rammstein, Exodus, Overkill, Machine Head and some others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessed the 1998 total solar eclipse which lasted for 2 full minutes (most eclipses last only for a few seconds tops).

The confused sparrows in the park started going to sleep. Dogs were barking and people were shouting in amazement as the moon obscured the Sun.

There are still some experiences in life money just cannot buy, and that was one of them.
