I would describe myself as an open-minded and committed person full of energy, happy to meet people from all around the world and learn about their attitudes and ways of life to get new perspectives away from the conventional "ways it is done".
Currently, I am transforming to a more sustainable lifestyle, learning to devote more time for myself and putting effort into self awareness and reflection.
All in all, I enjoy different kinds of lifestyles, be it "peacefullly reading a book in a quiet place" -moments, "exciting adventures out in nature" -activities as well as big city night life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Using Couchsurfing while traveling across Southamerica, I figured it is the best way to get to know locals, their way of life and the "must sees" they are surrounded by.
Now I want to make travelers feel welcome and safe in my country, being part of their experiences and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many different kinds of music - preferably when I can sing along and dance dance dance. :)
I enjoy movies and books that make me think and question the world we live in in general and my way of living in particular.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Beeing groupleader at the ISWI - International Student Week Ilmenau - meeting amazing people from all over the world, sharing inspirational moments, making friends accross borders and transforming the world a tiny bit.

Solo travelling across South America, supporting sustainable and social projects.

Participating in a Vipassana meditation course (while secretly celebrating my birthday in complete solcitude).
