ABOUT ME

I'm Valentina Allan, photographer, and graduate in Communication. I am a passionate person to highlight the magic of life in small moments, watch a sunset, enjoy a tea while I am conversing, observe constellations in a starry night, sow and care for plants, and above all learn something different every day.

I currently live in rural area of Salento, in a village called Cannan. It is a natural space, with forests around, rivers, mountains, and birds. It's not easy to get here, but it's a paradise. We have shared our farm in a space to live experiences: thelemonstreefarm.wordpress.com

I have two projects to which I am dedicated, both have to do with urban art and the ability it has to transform the world around me. The first one is a project called Khuyay, with which we fill the walls of cities with color and magic, transforming spaces and believing that art is a tool for change. https://www.facebook.com/Khuyaycolombia, we organize the urban art festival Pereira Querendona.

On the other hand, there is "Grafica Mestiza", the dream that all that color that is reflected in the Latin American streets will be dispersed throughout the world. In Gráfica Mestiza we write about urban art and graffiti, we investigate different phenomena that arise with this practice and we make books! Interactive books where you can learn more about Latin America and the art that arises here in the streets.
