PLEASE READ CORRECTLY!!! I DON'T LIVE IN ROME!!!: Although I am originally from Rome, I live in Castel Ganfolfo, 30 min away from the centre of Rome by train. Therefore, please do not contact me if you are only interested in being in Rome or hanging out in Rome. I appear as living in the "Metropolitan City of Rome" which is made by several municipalities like Castel Gandolfo, but it is NOT actually Rome. Also, since I am going through some restructuring works at my place , I MAY be able to receive hosts in this period but I am not sure yet. CHEERS!!!

ABOUT ME

ENGLISH:
I lived in the United States for 7 years where I studied and worked for several international organizations. I also lived in London for 3 years.
I now live in Castel Gandolfo (small lake town close to Rome where the pope's has/ used to have his summer residency in which now they opened a museum ). Great lake view, great food and great wine.
Nice and close to a golf resort too.

Ho vissuto negli Stati Uniti per 7 anni (per studio e lavoro) e 3 anni a Londra. Ora vivo a Castel Gandolfo,piccolo borgo sul Lago Albano vicino a Roma.

PHILOSOPHY

ENG:I would like to couchsurf, swap houses and travel/live as much as I can with less money as possible, not for the money itself but because the consuming system they made us believe in has in reality no sense at all...

IT: Vorrei viaggiare e possibilmente vivere con meno denaro possibile, non per il denaro in sé ma perché il sistema consumistico nel quale ci hanno fatto credere non ha proprio senso

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

ENGLISH:
I can offer 2 couches (one single and 1 double) in the living room of my 1-bedroom apartment ( or otherwise I can offer my bedroom). 2 bathrooms are available though. The apartment has 2 great and huge terraces above the Lake Albano and is located right in the old village of Castel Gandolfo.

While I can give the use of the couches when at home, I am also available for HOUSE EXCHANGES/swapping.

Beside the lake apartment, I have a studio I have restructured right in front which I could give instead.

ITALIANO:
Posso offrire 2 divani letto nel salone, uno doppio e uno singolo. I materassi sono sottili ma abbastanza comodi.
Mentre è un appartamento che oltre al salone ha solo una camera da letto, ci sono 2 bagni (1 per gli ospiti). Inoltre ci sono 2 bellissime terrazze con una vista incredibile sul Lago Albano sottostante (dove oltre a godervi il panorama se proprio volete potrete anche fumare).
Mentre posso dare ospitalità sui divani quando a casa, sono disponibile anche per 'scambi' di casa (a lasciare tutta la casa in cambio di un weekend/una vacanza in casa di altri).

Oppure posso ospitare in uno studio davanti a casa appena ristrutturato ( niente vista lago ma carino) .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

ENGLISH:
I hosted one guest for now and it was worth it. I have not been hosted yet. In any case, I am tired of the standard way of travelling... Time to change... for the best.
Beside giving hospitality, I would like to also be hosted in couchsurfing or house swapping possibility by myself or with my partner.

ITALIANO:
Ho ospitato solo una persona fino ad'ora ma non sono ancora mai stata ospitata. In ogni caso sono stanca del solito modo di viaggiare (e di vivere se è per questo)... E' tempo di cambiare... per il meglio...tempo di scambiare, condividere ecc.

Oltre a ospitare, vorrei essere ospitata in varie parti d'Italia e del mondo da sola e/o con il mio compagno.
