Hi every body ! i’m Valentine and I’m 23 years old! I’ll try to introduced me in English! Be indulgent please :) so I’m from France, in Basse Normandie! I just finish my studies this year and I decided to live an amazing adventure before to began to work in France or abroad! I work in social, i'm a kind of social worker. it's a job who exist mainly in France! So we'll arrive in Australia the 14th January 2015. Our project is to buy a van and visit a part of Australia, maybe from Sydney to Perth, and we hope find several job in farms to do fruitpicking and woofing! See beautiful places, meet great people and discover Australian culture are our main goals!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing was recommended to me by a good friend! I joined couchsurfing because in few weeks I will start the biggest trip that I never did in my life! I leave France to live in Australia for one year with a good friend. To began our road trip we want stay maybe one week in Sydney and we hope meet great people and have good tips! I think that the couchsurfing could be the best way for that!

兴趣

Sport is an important past time in my life! I think thank to it, I feel good and alive! I like the team sport, I think that defeats and victories are always great moments in a team! I practice handball since 4 years, I also practice climb since 4 years, and I run often!
See my friends is also really important for me. Just be with close friends and talking, laughing, joking and partying. With them, I shared a lot of things: years school, party, my more beautiful travels, my most amazing experiences, like all the festiavls I did! By the way, I love festivals, each time I did one, I discover amazing singers and group and met people crazier than each other!
I can say I'm interested with History even if I still need to learn a lot of thing!I learned History during one year at the university before to change my mind and choose social’s studies! I look forward to discover the australian’s history!
And of course my favourite past time is to travel around the world when I can! It’s so interesting to meet new people even if I’m a little shy sometimes at the beginning! I love talking with people different of me, and always have news experience! Just enjoy my life in 200%!

A lot of kind of music ! for now, I listen a lot of Imagine Dragon, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, Cat On Trees, Macklemore, Muse, Coldplay, Eminem, The passenger, Two door cinema club, Shaka Ponk, ACDC, the Beatles… some movies's musics are great too! infact I like listen different singers and kind of music, pop, modern rock and old rock, reggae, a little bit of rap, and why not a bit of electro and jazz sometimes! I don’t listen hard rock. We can’t like everything! :)
I love go to the cinema and see great movies, poignant and touching! The last movie I loved is “Her”. To give some example that I like: la Vita é bella, Forest Gump, Saving private ryan , The green mile, Django Unchained, Mysterious skin, Funny game, Bowling for colombine, Les petits mouchoirs, Intouchables, Into the wild... I haven't really kind of movies I like more than an other! Just I can't see horror movies and movies where we can know the end before the beginning like some romantic movies!
I loved also watch some series like Breaking bad, Game of thrones, Homeland, How I met your mother, Greys anatomy…

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Probably A little road trip in cars with 7 friend! In one week we visited Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Praha and Luxemboug! It was very funny and we have seen really beautiful places!

And I had the chance to do an humanitarian internship in the republic of Congo, what a great experience! I worked in an hospital during about 2 month with the help of the French and Congolese Red Cross. I did this trip with another social worker and a nurse. We met the local population, discovered a part of the culture and all the differences with mine, we saw beautiful and surprising places, had interesting conversations about religion, family, studies, work, philosophy… a memorable trip!

Just share my culture and get to know the culture of the people I meet! Maybe i can help people to learn some french words if they wish it ! of course i would like continue to learn to speak English with the people’s help! Because I loved the good food, i hope discover some typical meals in the country I visit! I had a lot of good and strange experiences about that during my travel in Congo! Haha And of course I can cook and make taste some typical french meals to my hosts :)

For now, sadly I can’t host people because I left my appartement as I just finish my studies and I prepar my travel! But of course when I come back in France I hope I could host some people! It will be with a lot of pleasure!
