Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived and studied in Belgium, Portugal and now Germany. I am interested in meeting and interacting with people from all over the world and getting to know more about them, their culture, languages and interests as well as sharing mine. I love to travel and not only see the sights but also meet the people. I think this is important as it gives you a better understanding of a place.

Music, Movies, and Books

My life revolves around music. I love to explore music from all over the world - old and new. I listen to almost all music genres available. My favorite kind of music is from the 60s, 70s and 80s - soul, jazz, blues, rock and roll, hip hop.
I love to dance especially to music from different parts of Africa, Carribean music and Latin american music.
I love stories so I read a lot and watch movies and series a lot. My favorite writers are Jackson Biko, Binyavanga Wainaina, Chimamanda Adichie, George R. R. Martin, J. R. R. Tolkien, Paulo Coehlo, Robert Ludlum, Jodi Picoult among others.
I watch virtually anything as long as it captures my interest or appeals to me. I love discovering the classics.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to meet new people from backgrounds different from mine and to expand my views of this world. I want to share my interests and also learn new things from other people. More important I want to share a good laugh and make memories during my travels.
I work with food so I want to explore food from different places.
