About Me
Hey! I am Valeria, belarus theatre director based in Moscow.
I make performances and work as a drama teacher.
Enjoy making sketch portraits when travelling. Meeting new people and sharing experiences is the greatest thing in life. That is why I travel.
My favorite artist is Egon Shiele. Enjoy long walks, galleries, museums and masterpieces of architecture. I do yoga every day, make speeches about inclusive architecture and urbanism. Cook the best pancakes and borsh. When have time I read books.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When travelling I realised that the greatest experience for me was talking to locals. When you live in the city, you know the cutest places, the citie's life and concerns. Everyday life of local residents is more interesting for me sometimes than the sights. I appreciate cultural differences and ready to have sincere and respectful talks.
I also like to visit places where local rock bands play.

The books. Love antiutopia "Us" by Zamyatin, enjoy Ray Bradberry's "Farenheit 471", Stanislav Lem, Sasha Sokolov, Fredrick Bakman. Meg Jay's "Important years" really changed my life and lives of some of my friends.
The music. Like small local indie rock concerts, live blues and jazz, street music, classical music.
Among bands I prefer Muse, The Beatles, Bonobo, Radiohead, Placebo, The Velvet Undeground, Green Day, Kasabian, Florence and the Machine.
