About Me
Hey! I’m Valeria 😊
I’m a curious human, a big fan of nature, and someone who loves deep conversations and asking questions. I’m always keen to discover new hobbies, new perspectives, and new ways of seeing the world.
Food is a big part of my life. I love cooking and experimenting vegetarian dishes in the kitchen, and when I travel, discovering local cuisines is one of my favorite adventures. I like to bring recipes back with me, little edible memories from each place.
And home… where is home? Right now, home is Australia, where I have my bed, job, friends and my plants. But I also have my family, friends, and two lovely cats in Lima, Peru waiting for me. So I guess I’m lucky enough to have multiple homes ✨
I enjoy staying active: swimming, yoga, trekking, and dancing, especially dancing! I’m definitely a big mover.
I find beauty in small details and quiet presence. I appreciate meaningful connections, shared meals, spontaneous plans, and simple moments.
I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and discovering a little piece of the world together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a solo traveler, I believe this is one of the best ways to truly connect with people wherever you go.
I love the idea that there’s someone in every city ready to meet you, hear your story, and share a moment together. It reminds me that even when I travel alone, I’m never really alone.
Interests
I study management but I have a soft spot for social sciences. I'm trying to figure out what to do with these two passions.
