I am an art student going to university in Washington, in the US. I'm currently studying abroad in France for a year to learn French for my French minor as well as travel a bunch!

I was born in Peru but moved to the US when I was 1. Thankfully I can still speak Spanish, although I feel I am forgetting it a bit! Practice is much needed.

I hope to be an illustrator or be a visual artist for an animation company some day, and my dream is to illustrate a children's book and publish a comic book (possibly even in french!). I believe that traveling is going to help me so much as an artist, and influence the stories I'm hoping to create.

I'm very shy and have a bit of social anxiety, but traveling abroad has helped so much with this, and I'm sure it will improve even more in the future as I continue to broaden my horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to visit many countries while I'm living in Europe, and Couchsurfing seems a much better option to hotels or hostels. There's so many lovely people around the world, and Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet some of them.

Unfortunately I'm unable to host people right now because I live in a dorm, but maybe someday!

Interests

I spend my free time reading, watching films and tv shows, and of course, drawing. I am especially passionate about animation and illustration.
I also like doing yoga, baking, singing, organizing my desk for 3 hours, and eating yummy food (especially sweets!)
I am very fond of animals, and I will try to pet every dog I see.
