About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to breathe, dance, and laugh all over the place. To act on wanderlust and appreciate universal adventures...and be able to experience euphoria as it happens.
ABOUT ME
I am in love with breathing, science, dancing, writing, reading, and heights. Sometimes, I figure out ways to combine all of those at the same time, but I'm happy as long as I'm doing any of them individually. So far it's been working wonderfully.
I have been teaching dance for years, and write for newspapers around California. All that means is that I will dance to any beat, even clapping hands, and think that both words and silence are incredible.
I believe in life, science, the magic that happens without science, amazing energy, and eating silly food.
PHILOSOPHY
It's fantastic what happens when you truly believe that just because it's not your way, doesn't mean its the wrong way. This means that I'm willing to take life as life experience, not just my experience. It keeps me balanced, open-minded, and ready to jump off, climb, dance around, and explore almost anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in Madrid, Milan, and Brussels--because of this, whose have become three of our favorites memories, and places to go back to, ever. The experience is irreplaceable.
Interests
I'm in constant wanderlust and think that everything has potential for an adventure. I spend my time standing on chairs at coffeeshops, longboarding, rollerblading in areas that it's frowned upon, and dancing like an idiot in pretty much any social situation.
I love reading, and get incredibly excited when I'm reading a great book.
Mostly, I belly dance, teach random people to salsa and samba for no reason, and hang out in nature exploring. I climb things a lot.
And I like to start conversations with strangers because rarely are they actually strangers.

I inhale books and love foreign movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have jumped off waterfalls in Latin America, have ziplined through a jungle, have gotten lost in the French Alps, and shared a sandwich with the Secretary of State of Slovenia.
While couchsurfing, I watched a world class pianist perform in the woods of Pavia, Italy at night after helicoptering in his grand piano to a secluded location. All thanks to an amazing couchsurfing host.
