About Me

Hi :D I'm Valeria or Val ! I've been almost four years in Toronto, so time to share what I've discovered, and also discover new places!
I'm in my last year of university. Not sure what I will do after, but let's see where the wind takes me and mostly where my passport allows me to go.
Plans change. And I’m bad at plans.
I enjoy drinking coffee, jokes and memez! Also, dark chocolate, hanging out with friends, going for beers (or moscow mules, my favourite cocktail:D) , volunteering, picnics, tanning, sometimes going out, seeing live music (any genre, any place), WAAAaaalking and meeting new people (which is why I'm on couch-surfing :D).

Mostly, I enjoy being outside and being with people.

I'm the oldest of 7 so you can say that I'm patient? haha :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People who are curious of what's out there are cool and that's what couch-surfers are !

It keeps me on my feet, and feels like I’m traveling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Made it through 19 schools between kindergarten and high school, cheers to that !
- Hiked a volcano, El Chichonal (7km up), in Mexico with my 10-year old sister and we went down to the crater through a path that we weren't even supposed to use to climb down. :) There was a beautiful sulfur lake there:)
- Went on an ICM (International Course Module) for a structural geology course to Oman, camped in the desert there for 7 nights out of 9 and didn't shower. :D Everyday we ate Omani food made by our local drivers who we befriended <3 During our last breakfast in the desert, flies were flying all around us but hey, cheers :D
