About Me

My name is Valerie. I am positive, enthusiastic, love trying smth new and challenge myself.
I prefer active rest to passive, small villages and pristine nature to concrete jungles, face to face communication to online chatting. I consider myself a happy person and try to celebrate every single day! Life is a great gift!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS helps people to feel themselves citizens of the world, be free and open for communication and new adventures. It is very inspiring to believe that the world is peaceful and friendly. And it is a great way to gift smiles, hugs and good energy to other people from all over the world.

Interests

I enjoy sport: running, hiking, camping, cycling, sport orienteering, etc.
I like playing the guitar and singing. Recently my good friend presented me an ukulele and it became my new passion.
I spend a lot of spare time on creating smth with my own hands. Embroidery, drawing, different crafts and handmade works - all these small things make me a happy person (Very often I think that I could live in a hobby shop :) ).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music that inspires, classic music is my favorite, I love sounds of saxophone and piano.
Movies based on real stories are the best for me. I like watch films about strong people in difficult situations. After them you begin to belive in moral courage and fortitude and want to do more than you can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things happen every day! But the last most amazing thing is that I crossed the biggest lake of Belarus on bicycle when it was under the ice (it was the beggining of spring, so a bit scaring)

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that we shouldn't stop learning, knowing more about the world and experiencing it. It ia a great pleasure to share smth that you know . And what can be better than to be helpful!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook smth delicious, cast a horoscope for a host or share my good mood, smiles and impressions.
