ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting people from all over, I am open minded, friendly, passionate, caring and really enjoy helping others. I grew up in San Francisco and left home in November 2009. I haven't been back since. I have spent time in Australia, New Zealand, the Fiji Islands, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Antarctica and a fair number of other places.
I enjoy volunteering while traveling. While in the Philippines I spent about 2 weeks helping at a dog sanctuary, 3 months teach assisting in Australia, milked cows for a month in New Zealand and helped with conversational English for a few days in Indonesia, etc!!! I don't travel with any books or maps...well okay I do use an app called Maps.Me. It helps me sometimes...that is when my GPS on my phone decides to work!!!!
At home I studied Child and Adolescent Development and Nonprofit Management. While at university I worked in a preschool as a sub teacher, an on-call counselor at a group home for kids that are emotionally disturbed, and volunteered with the homeless population for about 2 years! I did these 3 things all at the same time while in school full-time!!! I used to like life to be crazy... now I am taking it slow. I've learned to enjoy my surroundings and have a "simple" good time!

I have surfed at a few individuals homes and have met others for dinner and drinks.
Everyone that I have met through surfing has changed my life in some way, big or small!!!
I am always excited to meet new people :)

How I spend my time...I love volunteering. I love hula hooping, juggling and learning other new circus tricks. Love listening to live music and music in general. Enjoy talking with others and learning about their lives and what they know about this great big world!I love scuba diving, trekking and camping and being outside. I enjoy nature and animals. I am interested in exploring the whole world...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Uumm...I don't read much, don't watch movies much...as for music I enjoy rock, 60s and 70s, some metal, live jazz and some stuff that's around everywhere that's catchy...though it does get on my nerves sometimes!!!
