Hello! I'm Valorie and I'm currently spending my summer break exploring the National Parks of the West. I'm working on getting as many backpacking/hiking miles as possible while visiting the parks.

Back in the real world- I'm going to school full time with a plan to pursue a career in clinical counseling and start my own practice in Sisters, OR.

Last summer I hike the OR & WA sections of the PCT. In the past, I've been a sailor, dive instructor, midwifery assistant, photographer, and project manager.

For fun, I love backpacking, camping, hiking, caving, surfing, and diving.

I helped my friends produce a video cataloging the melting glacier on Mount Hood. It was a pretty amazing experience.
