A student of dramatic arts from Finland. I previously studied puppet-theatre in Turku and right now I’m moving to Prague to continue my growth as a theatre artist in DAMU. On the side I work as a freelance sound-designer and audio technician.

As company, I am a good listener, calm, and always curious to meet new people and learn new things. I enjoy good conversations over a nice cup of coffee or tea. I’m also completely fine with chilling quietly in a corner.

I’m quite fond of running, riding bicycles and reading books. Walking around cities, parks and wild nature are also some of my favorite things when out and about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m moving from one country to another (Finland - Czech Republic) with just my backpack, and traveling by land. My friend recommended the service, and having also heard good things before I decided to give this a shot!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide range of music, mostly depending on the scenario I’m in. Everything from calm folk to thrashing techno will pick my interest.

When it comes to movies I enjoy heady sci-fi, good quality drama and thought provoking documentaries. It must be noted, that when it comes to the art of storytelling, I do prefer live theater over movies. Even tho they’re quite different as artforms, so maybe that is not a fair comparison to make.

If I’m just relaxing you’ll probably find me reading something - books - articles - newspapers, anything interesting that comes my way. I prefer spending time with lenghty and thought out writings over the clickbaity, flashy or overentertaining.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once cross country ski’d for 150km and 24h straight with old fashioned skis in untouched deep snow in the forests of Eastern Finland. And enjoyed doing it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show some basic things for a puppeteer to learn, or help out with performing - acting, public speaking and the like.

If you happen to need help with soundwork - recording something or dabbling in making music on the computer etc. I could be interested/able to help you out.

I’m also pretty handy with fixing basic stuff - especially bicycles!
