ABOUT ME

I'm a fun, outgoing, and spontaneous woman with a big heart and an even bigger sense of adventure. I'm originally from Virginia, which makes me both an East Coaster and a southern girl. That means I'm friendly, I have manners, but I'm not afraid to be direct. I had never flown on a plane before I was 22, but since then I've made it a point to travel as often as possible and I even lived in South Korea for a couple years.

I haven't been on a real vacation since I got out of the army in 2009 (except for Bonnaroo last year [it was AMAZING]). Being a college student, I'm pretty broke but still want to get out there and explore the world. That's why CS is perfect for me. :)

PHILOSOPHY

"To live is greater than to exist."

This is a quote that I came up with while training for a marathon. During the marathon, I had it written on my arm as a reminder whenever I was struggling or in pain that I was doing something that made me feel alive instead of letting life pass me by. I never want to look back on my life and feel like I missed opportunities to fully experience it. I hope you never feel that way, either.
