I am someone who loves to travel, be outdoors, and interact with a variety of people. I grew up on a farm, and love spending time at my cottage - where I tend to be in the water more often than I am on dry land.

I began traveling when I was 14, and I haven't looked back! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to visit all the places I've been, and I know that every trip wouldn't have been the same without the help from kind strangers along the way. Friendly advice, improvised maps, cups of tea, and places to stay...I feel that traveling is when you get to see the best in people.

I'm on couch surfing to share a little bit of my life with other people.

hosting travellers is a little bit like travelling itself and it is enriching.

being hosted by people in their natural surroundings is the best way to enjoy a new place.

I love to cook, and thus, I love to eat.
I love to read but cannot seem to do enough of it.
I run for exercise and sometimes I love it.
I love to meet new people and I enjoy learning through them.
I love to travel, to experience new places and cultures, I simply need to do more of it.
I love to dance, whether it be a club or in a dance studio taking salsa lessons.
I love music, both playing and listening. I love my didgeridoo . :)
I love Fests, wherever.
I feel strongly about all social justice issues, but my passion and my work lie mainly around food security and food sovereignty.

When I'm traveling abroad, my interest in couchsurfing is primarily to meet local people and not to save money on accommodations. If you put me up for a couple nights, I am sure we will become friends for life! I am eager to share a few laughs, or teach you some English/French (working on it).
