ABOUT ME

My name is Vanda Veingerl and I have a nick name Vandica (c is read as S). I think that I'm very extroverted person with a lot of imagination and sarcastic humour. Sometimes I'm too kind and to sensitive, but on the other hand, I can be really rude and sometimes I'm laughing at really unappropriate time (it's kind of a desease). I love to talk and be the heart of the company, but also I easily get really tired of people and I just need to escape into my own world. But don't worry, I allways tell when I leave =) Usually I don't complain about anything, but I am stricked about some things, that I respect and believe in. But I'm allways willing to know new things, new people, new cultures. I'm very openminded, I love to do things that are stupid, unplaned and to make a decision in a moment =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfe before or host some people that I dont know. But in last year I met so many foreigners and they slept at my place (or even lived in our apartmant) that I said I have to try something new. At the end, I'm very good in knowing new people =)

Interests

First of all I like people and learning about them and their culture. I love to meet new people, from different countries, social classes and cultures. This is why I'm studying cultural studies. I want to travel around the world in uncommon ways, on trips that are planned and organized by my own and this is, why I joined this site. I'm also interested in history and sometimes I think that I was born too late, at the wrong time and place.
One of my biggest joys is doing stupid and unplanned things, with a lot of adrenaline. But that are still legal =D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. Books are my second world. Usually I read stories, that are happening in some imaginary world or in past (like, of course, The Lord of the Rings, Sabriel, the trilogy of Otories etc), history books, detective and criminal books, poetry, philosophy... ALMOST everything =) I love movies too, but I rarely take time to watch them. I just forget about TV or computer, this is why I'm sometimes lost in time and space. I prefer listening to music, walk in nature or just trough the city, go to theatre, cooking, drawing, go to coffee with friends, do nothing (yes, I'm quite lazy sometimes xD).I can do everything if I have right company =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in Dublin (IRE) on St. Patrick's Day with one of the best friends, drinking guinness for free and joking around with the bartenders in one specific pub =)Dancing irish dance for the first time in my life with the dancer from Lord of the dance, also in Dublin. Sleeping outside, on the palube of the ship, on really windy summer night, wih my best friend ec.
