I'm a typical engineer who loves solving problems. I have eclectic tastes when it comes to pretty much anything- music, food, movies, travel. I can go from spontaneous to being a couch potato in under 5 seconds, time me? I like to read and sing along pop music but what I love most is dancing - especially on bollywood or punjabi music. I crack quite bad jokes and am amused the most by puns or pretty much any form of wordplay.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, I was researching for a trip to Bermuda and found out about Couchsurfing. While I can't host people because of my roommate situation, I'd love to meet people visiting NYC. I love giving out free advice so hit me up if you need some :P
I do love to travel solo and while Couchsurfing could be helpful in saving some precious cash, I'm hoping it could also be a great way to make some friends!

Given my eclectic tastes, I don't really have favorites, I have current obsessions. I generally love anything peppy and uplifting when it comes to music. I can watch all types of movies - sci-fi, comedy, suspense, thriller, romcoms, ones based on sad historic events, pretty much anything but horror. Nope, no, not at all - no horror movies! Books - I love fiction - fantasy, thriller, sci-fi, murder-mysteries (I grew up reading Nancy Drews and then Agatha Christies).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well, I don't know what amazing things I've done but one of the most amazing experiences that I could share would be my trip to Teotihuacan, Mexico. In the middle of, well kinda, nowhere are these amazing pyramids. It definitely was one of the most uplifting but also humbling experiences that I've had in my life.

I love going beyond the small talk - doesn't always happen with everyone but one has to keep trying. I also want to become a better person, always striving to improve and learn.
