ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in downtown Toronto in the High Park neighbourhood. I love where I live, Toronto is such an amazing, diverse place to call HOME. I studied Interior Design and worked in the field for about 4 years only to discover that it wasn't the right career path for me. I'm really laid back and easy going. I love spontaneity & adventure, anything that will get my heart racing by trying something new that scares the shit out of me excites me! I'm a big music lover...I listen to everything, I love going out to eat. To me, some of my best days are having home cooked meals with good friends with interesting conversations. AAaaannd most importantly, I have a great sense of humour, wouldn't have the people in my life if they couldn't make me laugh!
PHILOSOPHY
"The worse mistake anyone can make is being too afraid to make one" - anonymous
My personal favourite is THE HOLSTEE MANIFESTO. Google it and discover it for yourself.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge movie buff, all genres! But here are a few I really like.

Music: Frank Sinatra, James Brown, Kanye, Kings of Leon, Adele, Instrumental, acoustic guitar
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done is backpack Europe solo when I turned 25. At the time, I was terrified, anxious, nervous, excited all at the same time. Being a female and walking around a foreign country by yourself is a scary thought but a big accomplishment when thinking about it in retrospect. More specifically, I was walking around in Paris and decided that I would put my map away and purposely get lost in the alley ways crowded with markets, people shopping, food vendors and just being in the moment and enjoying it. Best decision ever!
Teach, Learn, Share
I took an amazing course recently that taught me that my life is all about making sure that people in my communities are happy. Whether it be my community of work, home, travel friends, college friends, etc. We all identify ourselves with different communities and if we all made an effort to ensure that everyone else's well being was taken care of, then ultimately YOU are happy :)
