One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering on a remote island on the Mekong in Laos. I stayed with a family and everyday we either went to the monastry on the mainland to teach one hour of english to novices, helped out with harvesting on the ricefields of the family and played with the kids of the village
in the afternoons. All in all, that was a truly memorable and heartwarming experience.
