Overview
About Me
I grew up in small town in Quebec, Canada, speaking French for the most part of my life until I decided to move to the big city in an English province; Ontario. I have been speaking English for 5 years now and still learn words everyday. I also took Spanish when I was in College back home and becoming fluent in Spanish is definitely one of my goals. I love music, adventure and traveling. I've lived in a few different lace in Canada and I love them all but somehow I find myself loving the big cities more. Who knows, maybe because I spent 20 years of my life in a small isolated town. I studied sciences back home in College (Cegep) but when I got to the big city, I decided to go back to school. I got my diploma in Audio Engineering & Production and then started my music career. Music = travels so it's the perfect job for me even though the industry and not always easy on you let's face it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet all kind of people from all over the world and learn about different cultures. I want to allow people to travel easily and make friends in different countries.
Interests
First and most important thing, I LOVE MUSIC!
Although my job can be hard sometimes, I love it because it allows me to travel.
I've always traveled a lot but touring is definitely a different experience and it allows you to meet so many people from different places.
If we're not talking about music, walking, running and hiking... exercising in general is what I like to do.
Learning new things is also something I spend a lot of time doing. From learning new languages to video editing software, to nutritions and new ways of exercising to the science behind things we witness everyday.
I LOVE dogs and all kind of pets for that matter. I love playing with children also so staying places where they're children and pets is definitely my favorite.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is Rock but I like most genres of music. Like most people, I will sing along to top40 and I also like country, funk, alternative, classical when I want to relax.
My favorite movie is The Runaways and I read books once in a while but I don't think I have a favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gave up everything (apartment, job, etc.), got out of my comfort zone and went on a road trip across Canada by myself with no specific destination. The best therapy is driving 40 hrs by yourself. I didn't have any money back then so I slept in my car along the way and eventually ended in the Okanagan Valley where I decided to pick fruits to make a little bit of money in order to get further. I then succeeded to get a 5 months contracts in Whistler, BC which is a ski resort village. Between the fruits season and the beginning of my contract, I had 3 weeks to spare so I drove from Vancouver to Los Angeles (still by myself) visited Washington, Oregon and California. Highway 1 on the west coast of America is a drive you have to do once in a lifetime. Then I stayed 2 weeks living in my car in California and went back to Canada for my contract in Whistler. I was looking for myself and I found her in California. I then decided to move to Toronto after my contract in Whistler and became a singer... since then I've been following my dream :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages! I just love to learn new languages and I can teach French and some Spanish.
Anything that have to do with music, I love to teach. I'm very good with computer programs. I thought myself how to make websites, how to use Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere. I love helping people creating their website, logo, etc. to either start their own business or share with the world their passion.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences and positivity. I'm a strong believer of the quote 'Everything happens for a reason' and I love to encourage people to follow their heart, their dreams, to get out of their comfort zone and trust that life will take them where they need to be.
I can also share my culture, interests and knowledge of French. I'm very friendly and I love life so bringing happiness to other people is generally something I strive to do.
