About Me
Speak Softly and Cary A Big Stick-Teddy Roosevelt.
Lets all be safe and have fun in this Wild Beautiful World!
I am a really fun gal, and very outgoing as well as laid back. flexible. My friends and family consider me to be a goof ball. I've been told that I could do voice overs for cartoons. I'm shy around new people but open up quickly. Planning and organizing are very important to me. I shower regularly, and try to brush twice daily.
I love animals, cats are my favorite. Used to have chickens, they got eaten;RIP chickens. I am addicted to chap stick, the good stuff too! (i.e. Burt's Bees) I enjoy going out with my pile of friends to our local polish club, I like cheap drinks and laughing about silly stuff and talking for hours about whatever, lots of laughing. Did I mention that I'm organized?
I am on the Monson Mass, Arts council. I help make my town more artsy fartsy and organize fun educational events. The arts council helped plan a huge craft fair in November 2016, thats all over town its really special. The Arts council that I am on calls me "young blood".
I also love Birds, like big time. A lot of my traveling has been based on and around birding. Love music (who doesn't?). Into crafting, and art. very friendly, not afraid to speak up, like to chill out, Netflix on Friday nights sometime. I love to cook. I like to explore new things, adventures whatever's cool, i'm down. Easy going and all around laid back gal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We Have Nothing to Fear but Fear Itself-Teddy Roosevelt
I'm couch surfing Because my Brother Justin did it a few years ago when he traveled and loved it. I Have herd this is truly the way to travel by many cool and interesting folks.
I want to meet cool new people in this beautiful country of America that we live in. I want to eat your local food and drink your local beer and shake hands with that old dude that is always sitting at the end of your local bar.
Our lives are too short to settle down in one place, lets get out there and explore new things together! I think it would be cool to check out neat places with neat people.
If we invite you to stay with us then we will take you to do all the above things that we had the pleasure of doing while we traveled! Yes, we can even take you to shake hands with that old dude that sits at the end of the bar...

Interests
I love bird watching and nature, hiking, walking, picnics are fun. I am really good at cooking and listening. I also am into crafting, I host craft days and help run a kids summer Art camp in Monson Mass.
I enjoy drinking coffee, tea and cocktails (in no particular order). Love Halloween!!!! Had a awesome barn Halloween party this year. I have a picture of my friends and I in our costumes up.
I like to be organized, I have a plan book that I try to write everything down in. I take notes sometimes. Its pretty funny looking back at notes you took the night before. Sometimes the best thoughts, ideas, and opinions are shared over several beverages, and its nice to write it down so you can remember it... I am a interesting classy lady, who wants to meet other interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music, Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, Primus, Les Claypool, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana brass, Chicago, Reel Big Fish, Pink Floyd. Earth, Wind and Fire, Bobby D, Frank Zappa (musical genius) NPR. Funk music is is the best for dancing. Blah Blah Blah, I respect and love all music....
My favorite book at this moment is "Trout Fishing In America" by, Richard Brautigan. field guides, birding books. Cook books are helpful, you can not top The Joy of Cooking.
Anchorman is a fantastic movie, but what was up with the second one?...lame. Anything Will Ferrell, yes even Elf. Horror movies are great, gotta say my favorite movie of all time is Sleep Away Camp 1, 2 and 3. If you have not seen it you must watch it in that order otherwise the movies wont make sense. Cheesy movies are the best especially from the 80s. Love the cheese.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My Brother Tyler had bone marrow cancer for most of his teenage years. I planned and coordinated a huge successful benefit for him to help my family raise money. It was really special and we had a great turn out. I never felt so proud of myself. We raised enough money to help pay for some of his very expensive treatment, and were able to stay in a near by hotel so we could be close to him why he was in the hospital.
Teach, Learn, Share
All of the Above Please :) Monson Summer Art Camp, Crafternoons. some of the programs that we put on in our town for kids! I enjoy volunteering, and philanthropy. Always try to help out at my local church as much as I can.
I also can show you how to hot glue almost anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A positive upbeat vibe. Pretty smile, cooking advice and or cooking dinner. Great conversation. friendly laid back cool chick. craft time, I have a tomato box in my trunk filled with fun craft projects we can do together! The lost art of post card writing, who says you have to travel to send post cards? Some bird info and birding. I am very clean, and respectful. Not a messy person.
I believe that organization is the key to success!!
