I'm an avid reader, but specifically enjoy: Kerouac and The Beats, Thoreau, and modern literature like Tom Robbins and Margaret Atwood.

While living in West Africa I got the opportunity to spend Christmas in the Sahel with a group of desert nomads in the North of Burkina Faso. It was definitely a Christmas not to forget!
