Hey!
My name is Vanessa I am a pharmacist :) with my boyfriend Oscar we are currently on a round-the-world trip!
We started our trip when I finished my PhD in January this year. Until now our trip has been great! We started the trip from Paris where we used to live (as we are a French couple ;)), and we have gone through great adventures in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan and Indonesia.
We love meeting local people and discovering the cultures and of course amazing food! (yes, we are FOOD LOVERS ^^).
Here is something more about us ;) we like boxing, and that’s how we have met ;).
During our trip, we also participated in boxing events in different countries (not at professional level, it's just our hobby).
We are also fans of hiking and cycling.
Ah, there is one more thing about us, we love cooking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually, we have never tried couchsurfing before, with Oscar we decide to have a try in Australia as we met a lot of friendly aussie travellers in Asia ! It might be a great opportunity to know the Australian culture and of course, encounter nice and interesting people during our trip. Darwin would be our first stop in Australia.
