I think it is a unique way to travel. With locals´advices one will discover a city in a completely different way and you can get insights into how everyday life looks like in the city you are staying. It provides the possibility to improve language skills and to understand the place where you are staying from a local´s perspective.

Music from the sixties and seventies!
Rolling Stones, The WHO, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Canned Heat, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Cream...
and so on. I seem to live in the wrong decade... But in general I am open for any kind of music. I am always happy to find live music locations and jam sessions. The type of music doesn´t matter :)
I enjoy nonfiction books about politics, sociology, psychology and philosohy, which challange my own way of thinking. One of my favorite (German) authors is Herman Hesse.

People tend to say that I am a quite good cook and I definately enjoy cooking. Especially vegan food ;). Languages, although I am not a good language teacher :D
