ABOUT ME

Hi,
My name is Vanessa. I am a college student in Ticino, Switzerland, but am originally from Los Angeles, California. I am in Switzerland studying culture and linguistics. Since my time here is not endless, my friends and I try to take as many weekend trips as possible throughout Europe. We're on student budgets, so we try to keep our costs pretty low, but we always have an amazing time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always up to meet with a Couch Surfer in Lugano, and although I am sometimes unable to offer a place to stay, seeing as I am in a multiple student dorm room, I plan on continuing my participation one I return to California and have a comfortable place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many of my friends have used Couch Surfing and have recommended it to me, as they have met some interesting people through the program.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Grew up in Los Angeles, and have seen every incredible aspect of the ever changing city of millions. Travelled to the four corners of Europe and am looking forward to soon traveling to Southeast Asia and South America.

I love learning about culture and languages of the world. I speak English, Spanish, German, French, some Italian, and some Farsi. I'm willing to help anyne learn any of those languages. I love tandem language exchanges.
